Hello everyone! Long time no see!! I am officially on summer vacation! I am so happy! I get to do a lot of working, reading, and blogging! And resting! God knows I need it!

And I actually got some reading done via audiobook while I was doing some projects! So I’ll go over those first before I tell you what I plan on reading this weekend!

So I DNF’ed Uprooted which is really sad for me because this book was one that I was hoping like hell to really enjoy and sadly I was just really bored…I felt like it wasn’t going anywhere and it felt really slow, and the characters were very meh for me. I just didn’t have the energy to continue it. And the audiobook was really boring too, the narrator had such a monotone I would get bored just listening to it. Sadly I won’t be picking this book back up.

So I listened to the audiobook of this and I loved it! It was such a fun fast paced book! And I loved all the secrets that were being revealed, and I enjoyed the direction everything was going in! I cannot wait to continue into the next book!

This one I listened to on audiobook and it was really creepy! Like super creepy! I was so scared to listen to it at night because I would then get like freaked out and stuff! I could only listen to it during the day! I have mixed thoughts about this book but I’ll get to that in my review so stay tuned for a review coming soon!

I also listened to this on audiobook and it was really good as well! I wasn’t sure how I’d like it but I will say I guessed the twist but it was still really good! Can’t wait to read the second one!

And here are the books I plan to read this weekend! I want to start Furyborn by Claire Legrand and I won’t finish it this weekend I know but my goal is to get almost all of it done by Monday since it’s published Tuesday and I want to share my thoughts with you all! But I have heard greats stuff about this book so I cannot wait to read this! I am so excited!

Furyborn book tour reveal

I am currently listening to The Heir on audiobook and it’s okay so far. I prefer America over this character but I will see how it goes as the novel continues on. I just get annoyed that they make a point to be like “I don’t need no man” and I’m “Okay! I get it!” But so far so good I guess LOL!

I also got this book off NetGalley for review and I am like 10% through so I want to read this this weekend as well! It’s funny so far so I can’t wait to see what happens throughout this novel! I also got a kick out of the title!

I hope to finish the audiobook of The Heir this weekend and start Labyrinth Lost and maybe finish it!

So I have some kind of big plans this weekend so I hope that I can get them done! I really would like to! I have some time off next week so let’s hope I use that time to read!

This week has been a really good reading week for me! I hope that continues this weekend and the rest of the year as well! I am 13 books away from my reading goal of 75! I am so proud of myself!

Here is what I read so far this week!

I finished Sky in the Deep by Adrienne Young, which was so amazing and I loved it so much! It was really amazing and so entertaining and good! And so violent as well! Wow! But had a cute OTP and I loved it so much…so cute!

I also listened to the audiobook of Gilded Cage and that was really good as well! I liked it! I was thinking I wouldn’t really care about it that much but at the end I was really into it and I enjoyed it! I am going to for sure continue the series! The narrator was good as well!

I also read the Haunted Hearts duology and I flew through them! I read Once Upon a Moonlit Path and I read it in one day! It was so good! And I loved the idea of the main character seeing ghosts and the spooky theme of it!

This one was good as well, but I prefer the first book more but I can’t wait to see what else comes from this series!

And here is what I am currently reading:

I started Brightly Burning by Alexa Donne which is a Jane Eyre retelling set in space so I can’t wait to see what it brings to the story! I got an ARC for review through booksfortrade so stay tuned for my thoughts on release day!

And I am listening to the audiobook of Simon vs. the Homo Sapien’s Agenda! I am almost done with it so I plan on listening to it tonight while doing my homework!

I am also reading Legendary by Stephanie Garber and I plan on reading it on my kindle since I have a review copy of it! Cant wait to finish it, but this will be my gym book!

Here is what I am hoping to get to the rest of this weekend:

I have the audiobook of A Madness So Discreet by Mindy McGinnis and I can’t wait to check it out because it sounds really good! I think it takes place in an asylum!

I don’t know if I’ll get to this book this week but I hope to get to some of it. That is Uprooted by Naomi Novik. I have the audiobook so I plan on listening to it this weekend as well, but I don’t think I’ll finish it!

Lastly I want to start Stay Sweet by Siobhan Vivian which is something I haven’t been able to read for some reason. I think it’s because I wasn’t in the mood for it.

And those are the books that I plan on reading the rest of this weekend and the next week! Let me know your thought and what you have read so far this week as I would love to know!

Hello! I’m here to talk about what I read so far this week and what I plan on reading this weekend! I’m reading some really good books so I hope I get to finish it all this weekend!

So far I finally finished A Torch Against the Night and it was intense! I loved it so much! I cannot wait for the next book to come out! I need it so badly!

And I thought I had finished The Queens of Innis Lear and apparently I did not….I apparently got only a excerpt because I saw it at Barnes and Noble and apparently I have quite a way left so I am back to reading that book again.

But I also finished Ash Princess! I flew through it so fast! I basically read it in like almost two days I loved it that much!

And here are what I plan to finish this weekend…aside from Queens of Innis Lear because that might take me a little bit longer to finish.

I plan on finishing up When Stars Go Out by Carrie Aarons and I am almost done with this so I hope to finish it this weekend! Hopefully today (Friday) since I’m almost half way done with it!

I also started the audiobook of A Thousand Pieces of You by Claudia Gray. At first I wasn’t feeling this book but I got two hours in and decided to keep going and it’s actually really good! I hope to finish it this weekend and start another book as well!

I am planning on starting and finishing Sky in the Deep by Adrienne Young! I’ve heard really amazing things about this book so I can’t wait to start it! I need to buckle down on my homework though so this sadly will have to take a backseat to stuff I need to get done.

And lastly I want to listen to the audiobook of The Reader. I plan on listening to a lot of audiobooks while doing homework this weekend so hopefully I can finish A Thousand Pieces of You and start this one while doing homework! Yay!

And that is all I plan on reading this weekend! Big plans but motivation to do homework and listen to my audiobooks! Wish me luck!

Let me know below what you plan on reading this weekend and what you have already read! I would love to know!

Hello! So this week has been a bad reading week for me since I have a lot to catch up on with school work and regular work.

I have only finished one book so far. And started another and am still reading another. I hope to work on that this weekend so let’s see how that goes!

The one book I read is My Lady Jane! It was so great and funny! I loved it so much! My review is in the works so I hope you all go check it out when it goes live!

These are the two books I am currently reading. I don’t know what it is but it’s taking me bit to get through The Queens of Innis Lear so I hope to finish it today and tomorrow and start another book. Yeah…I’m horrible.

And I have like 8 hours left of The Diviners left so I plan on finishing it tomorrow at the Zoo and then start another audiobook.

And here is what else I want to read this weekend. I have the audiobook for A Torch Against the Night, and Ash Princess as my physical book.

And those are the books I plan to read this weekend aside from doing homework….yeahhhh hope you enjoyed!

Let me know your weekend plans as I would love to know!! Let me know your thoughts!

Hello! I’m here with my Currently Reading post for you all! I have already read a few books this week and I am currently in the middle of two of them so I can’t wait to share all of this with you!

I have read three books already so I’ll leave a quick star rating for you!

Through the Ever Night: 5-star-rating-clipart-1

Into the Still Blue: 5-star-rating-clipart-1

The Upside of Unrequited: 5-star-rating-clipart-1

I know people think the Under the Never Sky trilogy isn’t the best compared to others out, but I love this series so much! It’s so fun! I was on the edge of my seat so many times!

And if I could give 1000 stars to The Upside of Unrequited I would. This book made me cry and I have never felt so heard before. Stay tuned for my review coming soon!

And I am currently listening to My Lady Jane on Libby and its so great! It’s so funny and witty! I love it so much! And the Queens of Innis Lear is good so far, but sadly I am not very far into it…I need to just power through this ASAP!

And the books I want to start this weekend are Ash Princess and The Diviners. I will be reading The Diviners on audiobook once I am done with My Lady Jane, and I have an ARC of Ash Princess so I plan on reading that this weekend once I am done with Innis Lear. Stay tuned for that review!

And those are the book is read this week, and the ones I hope to read this weekend! I hope I get the chance to finish them (except The Diviners since that audiobook is so long).

I loved this book! I was very very interested in this book! The magic system was super cool and I liked the characters and everything! Plus I enjoyed the historical aspect of this novel! Can’t wait to start the next book!

This book broke me! Oh my gosh!  I died! My friend told me to continue so I ended up binging it on audiobook! So good!!! I love it! Starting Clockwork Princess asap! After I finish my current audiobook!

Currently Reading:

And I am currently reading Lost Crow Conspiracy! I started it today and I’m maybe like 50 pages in right now. I want to get like 100 pages in tonight but that prolly won’t happen. Awkward.

Lost Crow Conspiracy approved2.indd

I started this today and I’m maybe an hour into the book. It’s only 9 hours or so long so I may be able to finish this in a day! I’m excited! I haven’t read Legend so I hope I don’t need to in order to understand this!

Books I Want to Read:

I also want to read Alex and Eliza by Melissa de la Cruz. This looks like it’ll be a light easy read so hopefully Sunday I can start it and finish it Monday! And then start Love and War in time for my blog tour!

I also want to get started on Clockwork Princess audiobook! And I know I won’t be finishing this up this weekend but I want to at least get it started this weekend! I’m so scared with how this will turn out because I am told that it will kill me so badly…so let’s see how this goes!

And that is what I plan on reading the rest of the weekend! It’s ambitious but I hope to get most of it done! Wish me luck!

Weekly Wrap Up

So I surprisingly got a decent amount of reading done! I’m very proud of myself! This year I’ve been relying heavily on audiobooks to get me through my bookshelves. I have been wanting to finally get through the books on my shelves and I’m really happy with my progress so far! I’m buying less books, and reading more books I either received for review or from my shelves.

It’s hard for me to read physical books mainly because I’ve been so busy doing homework or driving to work or class, or working so I hope eventually during my breaks I’ll be able to read physical books again when I don’t have to worry much about school work.

Anyways here are the books that I finished this week!

I started City of Glass and listened to this and finished it in a day. It was amazing! So great! Out of the three Mortal Instruments books I’ve read so far, this is my favorite! Can’t wait to read more!

After talking to one of my friends, she mentioned that I needed to start Clockwork Angel before continuing with the Mortal Instruments series. So I started it and read it in a day. And wow….so so so amazing.

I’m definitely Team Jem, but I do appreciate Will and what he brings to the table. But he’s a jerk.

I also finished Genesis by Brendan Reichs. I won’t go into much detail since my blog tour post will be posting this coming week. But it was amazing! Such a great continuation to this series. Gets better with each novel released!

And I also finished Flesh and Blood. This was another really good book and I definitely want to read more in this book series. I’m excited to read the next book that’s coming out this year! Makes me also want to read the In Death series again. I may pick those back up again!

bi0i-square-1536The Night Diary

And I haven’t started this book yet but it is in my goals this week to start and finish it! It’s a pretty small book so I’m making this book my priority this week! It sounds like it’s going to be beautiful!

And I also haven’t finished the Hate U Give audiobook! I have like 4 hours left so I plan on finishing that either today on the way to and from work or tomorrow. It’s amazing!! Wow! I’m loving it! Highly recommend you check this out!

(Sorry the format has changed for the last two books, was having issues putting the wording between them! Lawddd!)

And that is my wrap up for this week! Let me know down below what books you finished this week as I would love to know!!

Hello!! I’m here to talk to you all about the books I plan on reading the rest of this week! I actually got a few books done so I am super happy with myself but I’ll save those for Sunday!

Anyways I have about 60 pages left of Genesis so I’ll be finishing this today! And I won’t be saying much about this since I have a blog tour scheduled with this book so stay tuned for that! It’ll be reviewing both Nemesis and Genesis! genesis_final-e1515624778911

And I have a little over 100 pages left for this book so I will be getting that done today as well! It’s so good! I love her writing and I can’t wait to read more from her! I hated that this took me so long to read but I was so invested in other books I just never got around to this book! And school is busy so I have been busy!

I am so obsessed with listening to audiobooks so I plan on listening to Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor on audiobook this weekend. I have about 11 hours left so I think I could listen to this in a day since I listen to them at almost 2x speed. I can’t wait to listen to this! I have heard a lot of people raving about this book so I can’t wait!

And I have this book I also plan on reading and its Night Diary by Veera Hiranandani. I got this for review and I cannot wait to read it. I’ll leave the summary below for you, but also stay tuned for my blog tour that I will be doing next week for this book! You won’t want to miss it!

Summary: It’s 1947, and India, newly independent of British rule, has been separated into two countries: Pakistan and India. The divide has created much tension between Hindus and Muslims, and hundreds of thousands are killed crossing borders.

Half-Muslim, half-Hindu twelve-year-old Nisha doesn’t know where she belongs, or what her country is anymore. When Papa decides it’s too dangerous to stay in what is now Pakistan, Nisha and her family become refugees and embark first by train but later on foot to reach her new home. The journey is long, difficult, and dangerous, and after losing her mother as a baby, Nisha can’t imagine losing her homeland, too. But even if her country has been ripped apart, Nisha still believes in the possibility of putting herself back together.

The Night Diary

And the last book I want to start, and hopefully finish is the audiobook of THUG, or The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas. I am finally getting to this book! It has gotten so much praise, and everyone is reading and talking about it! And I think it’s finally time for me to dive into this book and see what I think of it!

And that is all that I plan on reading this weekend. It’s a bit ambitious but I’m lucky that some are audiobooks and some are books I am almost done with. So I really think I can get these done! I’ll let you know Sunday how I did!

Let me know down below what you plan on reading the rest of this week as I would really love to know!

Currently Reading

Hello! It’s Friday which means it’s time for another Currently Reading post!

It’s been a slow reading week a bit but since the weekend is upon me I’ll be reading like no other! I had a pretty ambitious TBR but yeah….

Anyways here are what I plan on reading this week!

So I just finished Nemesis (mostly at the gym during the week); so that means I now can start Genesis, the sequel! I really enjoyed the first book and I can’t wait to dive into this book and see where this one leads us! I won’t be leaving the summary for you since I don’t want to spoil anything!

I am almost done with When Dimple Met Rishi so I plan on saving this audiobook for Sunday and I know I won’t be finishing it, but I do want to get some of it read this weekend! It’ll be my car listening audiobook! I’m so excited to read it! It’s by one of my all time favorite authors and I can’t wait to see how amazing this book is!

Summary: Evie O’Neill has been exiled from her boring old hometown and shipped off to the bustling streets of New York City—and she is pos-i-tute-ly ecstatic. It’s 1926, and New York is filled with speakeasies, Ziegfeld girls, and rakish pickpockets. The only catch is that she has to live with her uncle Will and his unhealthy obsession with the occult.

Evie worries he’ll discover her darkest secret: a supernatural power that has only brought her trouble so far. But when the police find a murdered girl branded with a cryptic symbol and Will is called to the scene, Evie realizes her gift could help catch a serial killer.

As Evie jumps headlong into a dance with a murderer, other stories unfold in the city that never sleeps. A young man named Memphis is caught between two worlds. A chorus girl named Theta is running from her past. A student named Jericho hides a shocking secret. And unknown to all, something dark and evil has awakened.

I want to read this book as well, but I know I won’t be able to finish it sadly. I have a paper to write so once I’m done with Genesis I’ll be focusing on that a bit but I do want to start this book. At least maybe half way through it. But I won’t be getting my hopes up for that.

Summary: Kay Donovan may have skeletons in her closet, but the past is past, and she’s reinvented herself entirely. Now she’s a star soccer player whose group of gorgeous friends run their private school with effortless popularity and acerbic wit. But when a girl’s body is found in the lake, Kay’s carefully constructed life begins to topple.

The dead girl has left Kay a computer-coded scavenger hunt, which, as it unravels, begins to implicate suspect after suspect, until Kay herself is in the crosshairs of a murder investigation. But if Kay’s finally backed into a corner, she’ll do what it takes to survive. Because at Bates Academy, the truth is something you make…not something that happened.

And then I want to finish Glass Sword by Victoria Aveyard. I checked it out from my Libby app and it’s due in like 4 days so I want to get this read and listened to it. I’m about 3 hours into this audiobook so I should be able to finish it today. That’s going to be my goal today, because it’s so good and I can’t wait to see what happens in this novel! And also I need to catch up before War Storm comes out!

And those are the books that I plan to read the rest of this week, or at least for a couple I’ll start them. Let me know what books you plan on reading this week! I’d love to know!

Weekend Reads TBR

Hello! So this weekend is pretty busy with work and finals week next week so yeah not much time to read yet but I hope to fix that a bit.

I don’t have ambitious plans this weekend but I wanna try and finish one book at least.

So my plan is to get farther into The Cowboy Who Came Calling which I’m reading off my kindle.

I’m like 50% of the way through now so I plan on working on that more this weekend.

Lastly I want to finish Haunting the Deep by Adriana Mather. I’m loving it but with how busy I’ve been I haven’t had a chance to get to it.

Anyways that’s all my plans for this weekend hopefully I can finish these plans with all that’s going on! Plus my area has a fire going on, I live decently near Fallbrook area where the Lilac Fire is happening so I’ve packed a bag of clothes incase we need to leave which we don’t foresee us having to do but you never know.

Send good vibes!

Let me know your plans for the weekend and what you hope to read and I’ll see you in my next post!
